the thyme-leaved sandwort
visible again, in the widening zone
of heat leakage from the building
and looking much the same
as it does from december to march

also repeating themselves
the findings of soggy toys
in that space by the house foot

we need something here
as a greeting from spring:
a sandwort flower from the month of may

and then its colour table
to show the pink hues, they're there, somewhere

how's THAT for an associative chain?
