I went to the Hortus Botanicus, according to plan, on the free afternoon of the conference. And I liked this pocket universe of plants very much. Spent three, dreamy, concentrated, hours there, in shifting, eventually ceasing, rain. Although weeds were of course present in the garden, the Ragwort is from an Amsterdam street - lots of green between the cobblestones and along edges, I was pleased to see.
