Finally found the real Great Hairy
in the real outdoors
day before yesterday.

Today the spot is covered
with sections of roofing.

The two fresher flowers
are from the potted Great Hairy
grown from scratch on my balcony
- it either hiked along with
a Sunflower early last summer
or... I have entirely lost track of where it came from.
So I haven't counted it
but it can serve as illustration.

In the patch of hybrid Willowherb
by the office (still empty)
there was heavy weeding a round week ago
in the flowerbed
as well as on the patio...
