All through last summer
I watched this clump of Hardhead
at the edge of the lawn, by the foot of the next building
for any sign of flowers
but none survived lawnmowing.
This summer I haven't been watching as closely
with so much to look at in the Next Block
and since WHEN I have looked there hasn't been
anything special.
Today my internal color picker goes CC33CC !!
and I expect another thrownout toy or decoration
but lo and behold! two flowers.
For the scanner I only need one, to make two or more.
The Honesty, I suspect
is migrated seed
from the ones that were in the plot by the school last summer.
Now a small plant without flowers
by one of the garbage rooms, that end of the block. |
