Another cutback
not unexpected (it's been a long time since last)
- still a striking contrast how some will come from near and far to see
one single enterprising immigrant
and others will see only the mass of weeds (off with their heads).
We sorted through the cuttings that were left
stinging nettles and all
- I was the one who knew the spot where we could still see the remainders rooted
but Johan Dahlberg found the chopped off straw: the panicle I had watched developing...
