Like the white clover of last year
The Siberian pea-tree is not a weed in the narrow sense.
The parent bush, which shed the leaflet
and from which I nipped the seed pods
is a part of a cultivated hedge.
(The one with Whitlowgrass this spring)

But it does produce offspring
attempting life on its own initiative:
new little seedlings that survived the first snow
- and a few pining siblings
of the young plant I harvested in May
(and had on the page for black medic
until Erik warned me it wasn't...)
