Rosettes of the Whitlowgrass
where in the beginning of June
I captured the froth of emptied seed pods.

Two weeks ago the ground was dotted with green
some of it to be chickweed and mouse-ears
upon a closer look.
Many of those green dots didn't make it
whether due to the heavy rain or to weeding
I don't know.
