White Melilot, Göteborg, July 21st, 2001

This summer, 2002, the cages
have been let mostly alone. So far.

The Goosefoot: The abundance of Chenopods in the cages around trees at the mall has been kept in check this summer, I haven't found the red one until now.
The Cleavers: while the weeders at the Mall employ an all-out tactic, here in the apartment block there is a haphazard element. Beheading the Harebells and leaving the Cleavers all over the shrub where they grow, no longer just underneath.
The Melilot: standing proud in another shrub, by our front door - taken for cultivated, methinks. Being in a proper place for flowers and pretty enough... (I could write that into my Survival Handbook for Weeds).
